Opening soft
When I envisioned Coco & Theodore, I wanted to really roll out the carpet. I was going to have big matching product releases . I wanted to create a look book for social sharing showing the entire matching line of products .
But, as usual , time and space are my enemies.
Ive been working hard on getting this website up and going . We’ve much more to list for Stephen once the weather breaks . And as for Coco & Theodore, I’m very finish driven . I can’t stand having one project sit around while moving onto the next .
So I decided to open!
The above fabrics were my inspiration for my first release. Think mushrooms and hedgehogs. Gnomes and bears . ( which is wny Sir Stephen has been releasing gnomes too.)
Not all , but a good portion of my fabric that I’ll be using is custom printed from Wolf and Rabbit . The designer does such a beautiful job with her art work and I love the Organic Euro cotton bases she uses. It’s wonderful fabric and so high quality !
While I have made several snuggle hats and snap hoods , I am not completely pleased with them and have decided to hold them for craft shows rather than putting them on my website . They will be perfect for my outdoor theme park show and I am tucking them away for just that occasion.
I did however upload several cute beanie and Pom hats. . My word I had so much fun making these !
While these are made with pricier custom fabric , I’m considering making some of less expensive fabric because I love them so much! I’m a beanie fanatic truth be told . I wear them all the time .
Tomorrow I’ll begin uploading doll clothing . I don’t have much of that made yet , but expect to see doll clothing , dog clothing , dog diapers and more coming very soon !
Ive had a few ask if I plan to open an Etsy shop. I do have an existing one that I might use , I’m not sure yet . My product will not be going to all the shows all at once . The hats will be going to the outdoor theme park only probably .
I might reserve Etsy for dog products, but really , I am secretly hoping that I won’t have to mess with it because this website will do so well .
We shall see , here we go !
